welcome to teenage dream, a high school role play based off of the tv show glee, set in the fictional town of chickpea, north dakota. here, you may find your best friends, toughest competition, and - of course - your worst enemies; and maybe you'll even have a shot at becoming famous, too.

[justify]whether you're a glee club member, or a jock to bully the glee clubbers, or maybe even a spy from one school or the other. either way, all characters are to be created in this board. you may not post anywhere else until your character has been accepted.

[justify]this is the plotting board. please feel free to write up a simple little plot-request-page-thing to put up on this board in hopes of creating great plots and relationships between your character and all the others on the site. it is, of course, not required; however, it's definitely a pivotal feature in creating a popular character.

[justify]there are just so many ways to keep in touch with friends and family members in this day and age. technology is carried practically everywhere with us - to school, work, even to the bathroom. keep in touch with people using those lovely electronics right here.

[justify]the north wing is the front of the school, it is home to the school's administrative offices. it's decorated with pretty wooden walls and shiny golden awards the school has collected over the years, most of which flaunt their success in front of their rival school. the north wing holds more of the school's larger accommodations such as the auditorium, cafeteria, and gymnasium.

[justify]the south wing of west chickpea high is home to more of the academic features of the school, such as a variety of the classrooms as well as practice rooms for the musically-inclined. the south wing is much dirtier than the north wing, mostly because only students and faculty travel to the back of the school, whereas the more important figures stay towards the front of the school.

[justify]unlike it's rival school, northeast high is made up of two buildings, the main building and the east building. the main building is the original; the east building was built when the main building became too small to fit all of the school's many features. the main building, however, is much larger and much more outwardly beautiful. it is home to all of northeast high's academics and artistic departments.
[/justify]

[justify]the east building is used for extra curricular activities such as sports and and student hangouts that don't fit in the main building. the east building is much smaller than the main building and is a bit newer, due to being built quite a while later.
[/justify]

[justify]chickpea heights is a large hotel in the center of chickpea, north dakota. it is also home to a large studio that features art exhibits each month, and a rather large auditorium where show choir sectionals are held each year.
[/justify]

[justify]brother's square is a large park in the north of chickpea. it, like the rest of the town, is split down the center by the eastern and western districts; however, the children who play there with their parents, nor the people who take walks around the park, ever seem to notice whether they're on the east or the west sides. it is what the locals like to call 'neutral ground'.

[justify]although east chickpea looks much more simple and plain than west chickpea, don't let that fool you into thinking it's any cheaper to own a house here. while the outward appearance may seem less fancy, the homes in east chickpea are much more expensive and usually feature the latest home technology. if you want a home for your character in east chickpea, please personal message the admin account to have it added.

[justify]marketplace is the large supermarket on the east side of chickpea. unfortunately for the western locals, they must traverse down a couple of streets before making their way to the marketplace to buy their groceries. due to this ever so slight inconvenience, marketplace way, the street where the store is located, has become neutral ground, as is the store itself.

[justify]sweetleaf cafe is a great after school hangout for many northeastern high students. the coffee and other hot beverages are simply delicious, and the baked goods are to die for. the inside is reminiscent of an old french cafe said to really exist in france, although the owner, nor any of the customers, have ever really visited the cafe, let alone the country.

[justify]west chickpea is a bit more elegant in the looks department. every house is fancy, most of them are quite large as well. lawns, too, look as if they've been taken care of with the utmost precision. if you want a home for your character in west chickpea, please personal message the admin account to have it added.

[justify]because the high schools in the area lack great fine arts programs, studio twelve is a nice place for high school students, as well as adults, to come and spend a few hours in a studio, doing work. it is in the center of west chickpea, so most eastern locals don't spend much time there.

[justify]a cute, retro diner located in western chickpea, the chickpea diner is the place to be when you want to have a fun night out with friends, or even a bit of a romantic night out with a loved one. chickpea diner is a rather sweet place, and the music that plays softly in the background can take one back to the funky, hippie days.

[justify]in which members of all sorts can come together and talk about anything that strikes their fancy. this board; however, is a members-only feature to keep all strange folk of unknown origin from stealing anything from member-created artwork to semi-personal information.

[justify]seriously, what's a role play without a sufficient games board? here's a hint: a very non-awesome rpg. while every accepted character/account is allowed to contribute to the games section, please do not make it your one-stop posting shop - to put it simply: it becomes no fun if one or two characters dominate the board.

[justify]any cool contests and whatnot are held here. but these aren't always your average contests like spotlight awards (though, those are featured here as well), but other funky contests the staff team can come up with.
